Melissa Backus lives in Maine with her husband, Tom and two daughters. They own Passchendaele Farm, with their many horses, ponies, a donkey, ducks, chickens, geese, 3 cats, and 6 English Coonhounds. Melissa is a full-time Paralegal with a prominent law firm in Camden, Maine and an entrepreneur, creating beautiful handmade jewelry and horse hair keepsakes as "Neigh-Kid Gifts".
