This custom horse hair bracelet features hair braided/weaved beautifully into a 10-warp flat braid with a marine knot-style magnetic clasp as the center piece that brings this bracelet all together. This bracelet can be made with your own horse's hair or horse hair from my collection. For this bracelet, I request a section of hair, preferably tail hair, about as wide as a pencil and at least 16 inches long. If you do not have this amount of hair, please reach out to me before ordering. I am willing to try to work with less hair and/or mane hair. Note: If you are unsure of the size bracelet needed, please order larger. I can resize this bracelet if it is too big, but I cannot make it larger if it is too small. If you order a size too small in this style, you will need to order a new bracelet.
Custom "Major" Horse Hair Bracelet
Please treat your horse hair jewelry like a fine piece of jewelry. Although the horse hair is very durable and can withstand daily wear, it can become snagged on other jewelry or items in your environment. While some of my jewelry is designed for daily wear, most items should not be worn out to do barn chores. Washing jewelry: You may rinse your jewelry or wash it with a gentle shampoo and allow to air dry. Do not expose jewelry to hair dyers or excessive heat.
Obtain and Choose a Size. This will be the end to end measurement of the completed bracelet. If you have a bracelet that you like that fits well, please measure that and choose that option as your size. Otherwise you will need to do the following:
Measure your wrist where you would normally wear a bracelet with a flexible measuring tape or you can use a plain strip of paper where you would normally wear a bracelet, mark your size with a pen or pencil then use a ruler to measure the length. That would be your wrist size. To find your bracelet size, just add your wrist size with the appropriate measurements below.Fitting Style Add inch(es) to wrist size
